Executive

To promote effective regional representation, ACCUTE moves its executive office every two years, coinciding with each president's term of office. Since its inception, it has operated out of Departments of English in many different Canadian universities – most recently U of T, Memorial, Laurentian, Winnipeg, Ottawa, and Mount Saint Vincent.

ACCUTE'S Executive Structure

The executive is made up of the President, the Past-President or the President-Elect (who serves as Vice-President), the Secretary-Treasurer, 3 elected Members-at-Large, a Graduate Student Representative, and a Sessional Representative. The Editor of English Studies in Canada, and the Chair of the Canadian Association of Chairs of English are ex-officio members of the executive.
